Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A search query entered in a search tool is sent to the provider operating that tool. Lincoln County Court Docket does not maintain a local log of the party name or case number entered there. The tool provider's privacy terms apply to that submission.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email, the message and contact details may be retained to respond or maintain the communication. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Site operation may collect routine technical information about a visit, including:
- An IP address and related network information
- Browser version, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them
- The referring page or service when available
- Dates and times of page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics services may be used to understand traffic and site performance. Browser settings can limit cookies, although some features may then behave differently. Aggregated analytics are used to assess pages and technical reliability.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and contact information may be used to operate and protect the resource, answer a message, diagnose a problem, measure audience use, direct a search request to its provider, and support advertising shown on the pages.
No Court-Record Data on File
Lincoln County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of Lincoln County case files or court dockets. Official records are kept by the Clerk Magistrate and Clerk of County Court or the Clerk of District Court, depending on court level. Nebraska Court Rule §1-805 describes defined electronic access to public case information, while §1-808 preserves exclusions for sealed, adoption, protected, and other restricted records. This resource only explains paths to the offices and statewide systems that hold those records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on the site are operated by outside companies. A provider receives and processes information entered into its tool under its own policy, retention practices, and terms. Review that policy before submitting any query because Lincoln County Court Docket does not control the provider's data practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Nebraska court, clerk, county, state, federal, or third-party resources. Once a visitor leaves this resource, the destination's privacy policy governs its handling of information. Review that policy before supplying personal details.
Advertising partners can use their own technology to measure activity or deliver advertising. That activity is governed by their systems and notices.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Information may be available to:
- A search provider when a visitor uses that provider's tool
- Analytics vendors supporting traffic and performance measurement
- Advertising networks serving content on the resource
- A government body or law-enforcement agency responding to a valid legal requirement
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical practices are used to protect information associated with the resource. No online system is completely secure, and absolute protection from loss, unauthorized access, or a security incident cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If such information is believed to have been submitted, contact the resource so the matter can be reviewed and addressed.
Your Data Rights
A visitor may ask for access to personal information retained by this resource, seek correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where appropriate, or ask about an information-processing practice. Nebraska public-record law does not turn a court's restricted record into public material: Neb. Rev. Stat. §84-712 addresses inspection and copies of public records, and §84-712.01 defines public records and electronic data subject to exclusions.
Updates to This Policy
This policy can be revised when site practices or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
